Bingham Tennis Center Lights Update
Lighting is operational!
Posted Date: 3/8/2017

Lights at Bingham Tennis Center are now operating!  They are controlled by the user through a push button system.  This push button system will allow for tennis players to activate the lights on demand but will prevent the lights from unnecessarily burning when not in use.

How do I turn on the lights?
Each bank of courts is activated by a push button. The button allows for the lights to be turned on 30 minutes prior to sunset up until 10 pm. Pressing the button will activate the lights for approximately 1.5 hours. Fifteen minutes prior to the end of the activation period, the alert beacon will signal. Pressing the button again  will activate it for an additional time period. Lights can be activated until 10 pm. The lights will turn off at 10 pm regardless of the button being activated.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the light activation, please feel free to contact
the Lexington Parks and Recreation Department at 336-248-3960 Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm.
