Chick-fil-A picks Lexington! (City Council Goal #1)
Posted Date: 3/27/2017 9:00 PM

The City of Lexington proudly welcomes the first Chick-fil-A to Davidson County!  Lexington Plaza Parkway has been chosen as the place for this popular restaurant. At the March 27th meeting, City Council approved a major zoning permit for construction plans to get underway.

Lexington is thrilled to welcome Chick-fil-A to the community and to the list of many other local restaurant options -- all for the enjoyment of the citizens and for the many visitors traveling through Lexington via Interstate 85. This announcement adds yet another accomplishment to City Council's Top 10 Goals of  2016-2017 to "Create an environment that grows the economy, increases tax base and fosters entrepreneurial opportunities."

Chick-fil-A will be located at 75 Plaza Parkway beside Applebee’s restaurant and will consist of a 4,988 square foot restaurant with a drive thru, outdoor dining area and indoor playground.

Stay tuned for more information on the projected opening date anticipated late 2017!

“We should be about more than just selling chicken. We should be a part of our customers’ lives and the communities in which we serve.”
