Public Utilities - Gas

The Natural Gas Department provides for the operation of the City-owned natural gas system. Serving 8,067 customers and maintaining 463 miles of pipeline, the department proudly boasts an annual growth rate of 290 additional services per year. The department also has a safety mascot, Sniffasaurus, used to teach families about the dangers of improperly handling natural gas.
