Annual Multicultural Festival
The Annual Multicultural Festival has been a proud Lexington tradition for fourteen years. With such features as the International Villages and the International Stage, citizens will have a unique chance to expand their horizons and learn something new. Learn about the Middle Passage at the African-American Village, listen to the sounds of ancient string instruments in the Asian Village, or enjoy watching the Parade of Nations with special guest Mayor John T. Walser, Jr.
The Multicultural Festival isn't all just learning, either. The International Children's area with free balloons and face painting, rides and amusements like the rock climbing wall and dixie swings, and the Teen Scene with gaming competitions involving Madden, Guitar Hero, and Smash Brothers Melee, means there's something for everyone!
