Miscellaneous Collection Items

WHITE GOODS
White Goods (APPLIANCES) are defined as: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, washers, dryers and so forth. If the Sanitation Department collects an appliance, there will be a $25 charger per appliance collected. A customer may dispose of an appliance at The Davidson County Landfill, which accepts them at NO CHARGE.

TIRES
Tire Collection (OFF RIM) There is a $10 fee per tire collected. A customer may dispose of used tires at the Davidson County Landfill at NO CHARGE.

MIXED DEBRIS
Due to Federal, State, and County disposal regulations, mixed piles of garbage, trash, brush, will not be collected.

DEAD ANIMALS
Dead animals must be bagged and placed at the street prior to collection. The Sanitation Department does not collect dead animals from private property. Only small domestic animals will be collected. (i.e., dogs, cats, etc.)
