Please mark your calendar for Friday, April 23, 2010 Multicultural Festival Butterfly Arts Initiative “Unveiling Ceremony” at Lexington Civic Center beginning at 5pm. Local schools participating in the art program will showcase their art work to the public. A silent auction will take place and the public is invited to attend. There is no fee to attend the event. Doris Brown with Arts United of Davidson County is coordinating the event. Remarks will be given by Mayor John T. Walser, sponsors of the arts initiative and school administrators. Refreshments will be served. Please come out and support the students in our community who are taking part in the festival.
